MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Principal’s Message

Welcome to Early College Charter School of Philadelphia!

At ECPHL, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of academic excellence, personal discipline, college and career readiness. Our goal is to empower every scholar with the critical thinking skills, character, and support needed to thrive in post-secondary education and beyond. Through rigorous instruction including our ThinkCERCA writing framework, OpenSciEd science curriculum, and Illustrative Mathematics, we ensure that  our students are challenged daily and equipped for success to earn a high school diploma plus!

We believe that a strong school community is built on structure, safety, and continuous collaboration among students, staff, and families. Whether we are gearing up for engaging in active learning in the classroom, or enforcing high expectations for our school culture, our commitment to our scholars remains unyielding. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our academic programs, school policies, and upcoming events. Thank you for partnering with us as we guide our leaders of tomorrow!

To our community members, parents and guardians, and staff: thank you for your commitment to empowering young people to transform the world around them. We look forward to inspiring classes of 6th through 12th grade for many years to come here at 15th & Pine Street.

Warm regards,

Principal Ford-Smith
